Success = perseverance × Hardwork + y0

The four letter word LOVE has a nick name and we know it by the name MATH. It simply amazes me how mathematical equations can teach us so much in Life.

If you have the ability to think rationally, decide what is right and what is wrong, can choose between the good and the evil, you already have an advantage of y0 steps in the success ladder.

Success ∝ Hardwork

Success = perseverance x Hardwork

While you climb the ladder of success, The perseverance to achieve more should not die. Slope of a line can change the whole damn picture.

Consider a very simple scenario—

Three friends Red, Green and Blue (see the graph) at a particular instant are on the same step in the success ladder. But the back story of their success is different and the future story of their success will also be highly different. Green all his life has shown high persistence in fighting with all hardships that he had to encounter. While Red and Blue too had their share of perseverance, they were always behind Green. With an edge over the other two, a little less Hardwork gave Green some exceptionally high returns. Though this doesn’t mean that Hardwork is overrated…. It simply means perseverance is underrated. A balance between them is important.
